BIO

Marcie is a singer, actress, accompanist, voice instructor and piano teacher living in New York.  She is an Actor’s Equity Performer and SAG-AFTRA member who holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Millikin University. She also attended DePauw University, where she was a Vocal Performance major and Piano minor. Marcie has an active participant of the International Holistic Vocology program led by NYC coaches, Tom Burke and Robert Sussuma.  Marcie has been an instructor with Manhattan's Broadway Babies. She served as a voice instructor for seminars at the National Guitar Workshop. Marcie has taught voice and piano at The Studio in New Canaan, CT as well as voice and drama workshops at the Oakley-Lindsay Center in Quincy, IL and at the Cumberland County Playhouse in Crossville, TN.  She recently had the pleasure of musical directing the Summer Youth Program at Huntington University in Huntington, IN.  As an Artist in Residence with the East Meadow Public Schools in Long Island, NY, she has provided voice lessons, concert accompaniment, and workshops for middle school and high school students. Marcie has been a voice and piano instructor at All Island Music Center in Merrick,NY where she also served as director for AIMC's Broadway Workshops. Marcie Passley Studios currently provides individualized voice and piano instruction in Manhattan and Long Island as well as online voice lessons for those living outside the NY metropolitan area.
